Operations
Training 2004 Schedule
The Operations Training schedule for January –
June 2004 is available. Based
on recommendations from the OSDP Program, we have incorporated a
“7-day” training hitch based on a typical offshore crew schedule.
Students may elect to stay for all or part of the training hitch. Our 3, 4, and 5-day classes will begin Wednesdays or Thursdays, and
last through the weekend. Remainder of the hitch is filled with 1 and
2-day classes in HSE topics, special skill classes (e.g., electrical
safety), or MMS test-out/refreshers. Alternately, students may elect
to complete mandatory computer-based training or SPBP self-study and
certifications.
Students are encouraged to discuss training needs
as soon as possible with their supervisors, as employee training is
included in each location’s 90-day work plan.
Students are urged to register early.
The second half 2004 schedule should be available mid April.
