| A
new state of the art LACT system has been built and
delivered to the training center.
LACT for those of you that are not familiar with
oil field terminology, LACT represents Lease Automatic
custody Transfer and for those of you that work in the
oil field it is our cash register.
|

|
| The
LACT Skid is designed to represent the systems used
offshore to meter and sample our oil for sales.
The new LACT will be used to assess pipeline
technicians and provide a training system for our
production operators and instrument technicians working
in the Gulf of Mexico to better understand the proving,
metering, shakeouts, and seal requirements for the
system to meet company and federal regulations.

The
LACT skid is located under the production shed and is a
working unit to prove and meter product.
The courses offered that will utilize the LACT
are production concepts, production operator, along with
liquid measurement.
